Project Type— Editorial Design

 

ORIGIN/ The Type Experiments task was to create a book of any subject we desired as long as both copy and imagery were done by us and expressed typographically in a book.

PATH/ This book is a true story about my mother’s fight with breast cancer. It also includes stories of Americans’ survival. The mental care of breast cancer patients is very poorly, and I hope this project can help address some of the psychological issues facing patients fighting with cancer. It will help them change their minds and help their bodies recover. From that point of view, I came up with combining different people’s thoughts together. The content is my mother’s story and family members’ feelings throughout the cancer experience.
